Coming Soon - Lakeside Crawdad Festival

The Lakeside Chamber of Commerce is having their 11th Annual Mother's Day Weekend Crawdad Festival on May 11, 12 and 13th. Captain Jack Sparrow  will be there all weekend!! The festivities begin on Friday at 4pm with the street fair having food and craft booths. The wine and beer garden featuring Rivers Edge Winery starts serving at 4pm. The live music from 5 to 8 is "Big Creek Rendezvous". At 5pm we start serving crawdads, shrimp and alligator sausage (your basic bucket list item). On Saturday the street fair and music start at 9am with the band "The Groovebirds". A 11am the wine and beer garden opens and we start serving at the crawdad booth. At 1pm it's time for "Hot Wax" who goes until 4pm. Then at 5, it's "Soul Pie" to rock till 8pm. We stop crawdads about 7pm, so make sure you've eaten. (Shrimp with garlic butter!! Worth the wait each year.) Sunday morning at 1030 "Big Creek Rendezvous" goes till 2pm.

We have half pound and full pound meals, gator on a stick and if your not sure, we have our "sampler" so you can try before you buy!

We have great support and manpower by the  Lakeside Fire Association who will be selling barbecued oysters and crafted signs, and Hauser Citizen Patrol and CERT who will be selling Mardi Gras beads and specialties in the beer garden. Tsunami information will be provided.

Lakeside Fire Department will have their brand new boat on display as well as the state certified ladder truck. The dedicated volunteers will be happy to answer questions.

Come to beautiful Tenmile County Park and Park Avenue and enjoy our free outdoor festival sponsored by KDock Radio, CFE Electric, Ringo's Lakeside Marina, North Lake Resort, Lakeshore Lodge, OCC RC Racing, and Day Ship Supply. For more info call Sheli at 541-260-5277.
